Guild Wars 2

I know exactly how you feel. This happened to me the weekend we got Dead Island and I ended up never playing the game with Waco and the gang...

Don't worry, you hardly missed anything with that game...

And yeah telkom is know for being idiotic beyond reason. When we switched to mweb they deactivated the dsl on our router for 3 weeks even though we still rented the line it by them.

So it was revenge ... :p

Aggenee Cronus :(

I use the fact that my mum runs a clinic as an excuse to get to to be made more urgent - she has patients and doctors emailing her over weekends

Oh - I just saw this - missed it somehow - but it looks like the Lifetime Survivor achievement has been fixed.

But it almost seems to me that the same restrictions apply as it did with the monthly version - you need to get it in one sitting. Or maybe I'm wrong. Dunno - but I've heard of people getting it despite having died at one point or another, only to complete it in a single session down the line:

Are you missing a comma?

Ja nee ek hoop so . . . . .

Welcome malice :P
haha, no.

see, it's like this. My flatmate got the game for nada, he doesn't like it but won't give it ot me, he always wants something in return. so I told him to go... you get the picture.

now, the back story is, I have this game I play with him. he's got this condition where he has to have everything better than me. I could care less, but it amuses me to see him scurry around when I get new/better stuff

SO, recently I upgraded my pc, which turned his world upside-down. now he's been planing his upgrade since and trying to get some money together.

Black Friday turned out to be good for me. Takealot has all the parts he wants on special, but he doesn't have the cash..... I do :D

so I bargained, I bought him the parts, Monday he pays me back, and in addition for my efforts and good heartedness he has to do the rest of the dishes (which is all his anyway), cook dinner Monday night, and I get his GW2 :D

Now I just have to figure out how to transfer the game to my ownership...

Good luck with that... My brother wanted to get the game from a friend as well, so we asked around on the support if it is possible to switch e-mails so that the authentication gets sent to a different e-mail. Well to make a long story short. You can't swap ownership at all. Anet doesn't allow the changing of the log in e-mail. The feature has been removed a few weeks back and they refuse to switch e-mails, no matter what the reason is.

hmmmmm..... then I'll just have to take over his account. he's just in the other room after all

The problem is with the authentication. If he isn't there and you don't know the e-mail, you won't be able to log if your IP has changed.
luckily since we got interweb again he hardly ever leaves his room these days :D

I'm sure we'll be able sort something out...

I was lucky enough to change my login email address to my gmail account before they changed their rules. I i didn't id be in the same sort of situation.

But anyways.. welcome to GW2 :D

Just change the password, to something he'll never be able to think of, and just pray he does not be a fool and report the account stolen like a friend did to me when I "loaned" one of my old GW1 accounts.
