So i recently got back into GW2 after a VERY long break and decided to hop into WvW seeing as i never actually cared much for it and to my surprise i'm really enjoying it :D

Can anyone in here explain why the finishers in WvW sometimes work and other times it reverts back to the default one? Is it just not showing on my side or is it a bug? :confused:
 
Sorry, cannot give you an answer, my Mesmer does not have stability, and I only have the default finisher. My Guardian build is almost done, and I must still learn to play it in WvW, or for that matter, anywhere else.
 
Found a post on reddit (about 3 months old) where someone experienced the same issue i did. Also doesn't seem like everyone is having the issue, only a select few. Guess i'll report it as a bug seeing as i can't do anything else at this point.
 
It pretty much happens on a regular basis. During my last session the finisher showed only once out of 5 times. It seems to reset after it shows the first time and i have double checked that the "Randomize Finisher" is unchecked and that the finisher i want is selected.

On some of the GW2 forums people have mentioned that their finisher seems to reset when they swap out weapons etc. I always run with the same set of weapons and i never switch out while in WvW so i don't think that is my problem.
 
I'll keep in mind, and change the finisher on my Guardian, must just remember that the Guardian has stability and stomp, and see what happens.
 
Also deleted and redid my Guardian, was Charr, now Human, prefer the animation, and I can see where I am jumping ... :)

This is just too weird. My characters are:
- Asura Elementalist (level 30)
- Norn Ranger (level 80)
- Charr Guardian (level 80)

All we need now is a Human Engineer and all my characters are listed in one post!

So last night i thought i'd try out the MT just to see if i have any luck in this game and... got a precursor :D I was so shocked that i just had to log out and go do something else
 
Will probably get one of those, when I got money to waste, buy an extra character slot, level, and kit it out ... , eish!

Lots of gold ... :)
 
Took over my Son's account last night, to earn a little extra gold, he has an instant lvl 20 "kit chucker" on the account and I decided I am going to lvl it, but it is totally alien to me ...

Enjoy! Totally the best class in the game. You can go full on turret, grenade, toolkit, flamethrower or, my favourite - bomb kit! There are so many options when playing an Engineer... Makes we want to get back into the game. They also have the best Elite skill in the game - supply drop.
