Check the launcher. It's a reasonable assumption that it's the new files.

Herewith my disclaimer: I can't guarantee you won't have to update more files for the BWE.

The launcher says its for the first non NDA beta, that is the one for this weekend.

It is worth a shot, if it doesn't work no one will blame you froot. You did try. Done refreshing my mail anyways. And once I get the link I will try that one and check the launchers.

Not even slightly new, I am just a hopeful person and I know I won't blame anyone.
A fools hope I know, expect hate mail if you have led people astray froot.
 
Another quick question. You mention renaming the gw2stream.dat which is an 11GB file. What if you don't have a previous beta install? Just dl the full 18000 files?
 
Just launched mine as well.. and it started downloading the new Launcher and other files downloading now.. so it should work ;)

Not a problem. Credit should be going to the friend of mine that noticed it... he ran the client last night and it updated. I just figured out the update current data file bit.

Nah I saw a guy on facebook who was 71% and just over 11gb downloaded. Size looks to be 16gb or so it seems.

We download and we have to do another so what would have had to do it any way. (dl'ing myslef since I am assuming that the BWE download will go out tomorrow?)
 
My guess is this is the correct one. The launcher is pretty clear and the users who had old beta files need to update meaning a portion of the game files, so leads me to believe we won't have to download more.

Though I have been wrong many many times before. Either way we get files, better than e-mail refresh spam.
