Question time.... why oh why are they only using DX9?
Mind you, it could mean that it would be easier to run (or make run) on Linux :p

Seriously wish i could sponsor you some cash but recently buying destroyer weapon + using all my money on tickets i became flat broke with only 10plat left :( if you want you could have that 10plat
 
ok guys btgames could not give me a key on the weekend , so i don't have beta key atm :(

so i went and looking , i can get usa key for dirt cheap, but will i able to login from here? i hear you can play on any server just not login to access the servers or something.

otherwise i will have to pay allot for a eu key :(

Best ask arenanet, you can email them or tweet on their twitter.
Asked a friend and he said afaik you need the EU one.

We have sold out of keys for digital distribution in North America. GameStop and Best Buy still have stock available.

We limit sales to ensure we have enough capacity for our customers. We're likely to have capacity available after the initial crunch at the start of the weekend. You can always buy the normal version to get your beta access and then upgrade to the Deluxe through your account management when the game launches - ANet's already said we'll be able to do that.

In related news ... 6 hours and counting.

Can we drop our char names somewhere so we all know who we'll be looking for tonight?

I'll be on Lumiere Miyazaki (Human Ele) to start - I might make a secondary ranger a little later to play around with the class.

ok got me deluxe edition for 50 dollars , got 2 emails , one for making the account other one that i can play in the beta, and when i try to log in it says, my account is ready but no beta event running, so seems legit :P

Glordit Adonis, Either Human ele or mes or sin or... ja lets stick with ele for now... :/
