Guild Wars 2

Don't know... Just don't like the idea of underwater play... Maybe bad experiences from past games... I have not had any chance to play it, so I won't make up my mind before trying...

But jeez, I can't wait... Gameplay videos look amazing...

First character going to be human Elementalist...
then Norn Ranger...

what are you guys going to play first?

I LOVED the underwater gameplay, it really changes how you play the game.

You have too keep track of all the movement around you, how your skills work underwater and the z-axis is epic. I really enjoyed it and can't say anything bad about it.

What he said. It will take a little getting used to - I think I have an easier time adapting because of my experiences with both Aion and Star Trek. Underwater has always been avoided for no good reason that I can think of - apart maybe straining graphics, but that's been a pointless argument for years now - and if I remember correctly Rift featured underwater combat as well.

Definately want to play an Elementalist, but first I'll probably play a Mesmer... Still stuck on race choices heh :)

You have a point.... but I'd be worried if you were to play a girl :D

LOL I don't see why, unless your afraid that playing a girl makes you girly, then you have other issue that you need to work on. :p

My very first GW1 character was a female elemetalist and I'm trying to stick with tradition. :D

Haha, I have stigma on playing female characters either, I think in a lot of cases a female version of a character just looks more basass kicking ass for hours on end :)

I'm shallow and like to look at pretty things.

All my Guild Wars characters were female and having spend more than 2500+ playing the game, time well spent.

All my Guild Wars 2 characters will be female as well, I might make a male Charr, but haven't decided yet, if I will be making a Charr character.

At some point I switched over to playing female characters online - I was always male at first, because I always had the same thought that playing a female char is somehow weird. And then one day on an impulse I created a female char somewhere and realised it doesn't actually matter - unless you think playing a female char makes it easier to pick up girls online.

Which I've come across, because other pseudo-females have tried to pick up my char :/ Not sure whether I should laugh or cry. But anyways ...

Like Sou1Co11ector said - I like pretty things, and I like creating a character that's relatively close to my ideal of a good looking female (which is why you'll always see me playing petite characters, rather than monster-boobed giants).

Each to his own :p

The only thing you have to deal with when you have a female character is some idiot that shouts to you in Guild Wars: "TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES!"

Then you reply: "I'm a guy!"

Then he replies: "TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES!"

Then you go offline and place that person on your ignore list o.O

first character is always as vanilla as you can get. human, male, warrior. :p

my first character in a mmo always reflects me in some way.

after that i go bos with things

Friends always argue, "why you want to make a human character, it's a FANTASY MMO make something other than a human character" - sorry it's just the way people are, they like to associate their in game characters with themselves
