Alright, I'm busy updating the game now. I'm going to give it one last shot and if it fails to hook me, I'm uninstalling it and shelving it for good.

Seems none of my friends who I used to play with have logged in in almost two months. That had me depressed enough to quit the game for tonight. Will try again tomorrow.

Then just play by yourself. I do that most of the time.

Holy shit, haha. I made a thread on the official forums about why this game is bleeding players like it is, and they gave me an infraction for it with the following message;

“Why I left” or “Why people leave” threads are not allowed on the forums as they are not conducive to creating a friendly community nor do they have room for constructive discussion. As such, this thread has been removed.
Thanks for your understanding

In other words, we're not allowed to discuss what's wrong with the game and why people are leaving. Lol.

They did the same to me when I asked why my Sylvari armor was bugged to all hell and asked when they would fix it. To their credit they did eventually fix the bug... :/

They still seem pretty active, if that's what you're asking. I see ZA members running all over the place from time to time.

HAHA u got served! But is the game really bleeding players? Last i heard there was a huge SA guild, something like 500+ is that still the case or are the servers becoming waste lands?

GWSA is still running at close to 500 members, but it's difficult to get exact figures due to the fact that you can be in multiple guilds at once. But whenever I represent there are anywhere between 40 - 60 people online - in the week. Haven't checked on weekends.

While it's true that you can run around some areas and only bump into players occasionally, many areas seem to be pretty well populated, and of course, during events visiting cities like Lions Arch almost guarantees a spot on one of the overflow servers.

I'm sure a lot of people have left because GW2 didn't meet their expectations, but this is true of almost every MMO ever launched. It's very far from becoming the wasteland some are making it out to be.

lol ... the gray bar at the bottom of the post - there's a Blog this Post button, and right next to that a little star that looks like a sherriff's badge. That's the one you want :)

Man, I really want to get back in the game (I actually still love it), of course my Norn Ranger is still level 23 and needs some serious leveling:o... But there's this other game by the name of Dota 2 keeping me hostage.

@Shadow, which Guild is your main one now? If I remember correctly, STI was disbanded:cry:

It's not disbanded, just mostly inactive. While I represent GWSA from time to time, I still run as STI for the majority of my in-game time. Frudi and one or two others still pop in every now and then as well, but having a busy guild on the side is useful if you feel like taking part in dungeon groups or community events.
