Yes Legendary Defender of Ascalon... What an imba title to aim for...

Level 20 in Pre-Searing Ascalon. My friend was busy with that, more than 50,000 with his death leveling, then his account got hacked and they took his character to post searing...

He rage-quit Guild Wars after that.
 
Are the guild wars games still sold at stores ? Can't seem to find any on the BT and Musica websites, I have a R100 musica voucher lying about that I thought I might aswell use for Nightfall
 
Don't really see them in stores that much, if at all anymore. Mostly online, and mostly they come as a collection. If I spot any before you find it I'll send you a shout.
 
Hi all, I'm playing Guild Wars, too. Playing with Dervish primary. :D

About vanquishing, it is not so hard as it looks. You only need to get used to it and right team layout. Currently, discord and sabway are best, but you can make your own. If you play with melee build, you need to have one hero with macros to put on required protective/offensive skills upon request. "whistling:

Areas with 4-man team are much harder than 8-man or 6-man. For example, Eastern Frontier took from me whole day to modify builds and running from resurrection shrines. :o Grawl were out-healing my damage and charr had serious AoE damage + strong melee support. Less options within party and limited space make it harder.

So, do it later. Start with factions, it is easier to get in. First levels (Shing Jea Island) will be like normal mode towards middle-end of game. :rolleyes:
 
Okay well the wife and I will be playing some Guild Wars again from tonight. We have all the expansions except for me, I need to buy eye of the north - which I'll also do tonight. We're both LVL 20 characters. I'm a lvl 20 fire elementalist, and I kick butt :)
 
I pop in and out from time to time, I'm mostly busy with Aion at the moment. But - depending on what info ANet releases about the Hall of Monuments and GW2 - I might be on a little more often once I'm done with my exams.

Kan ek jou betaal :D (hoop my account is nog ok...) om my te help om Speed Booking te doen om EOTN titles te complete (AS ek oorreed is deur HoM vs GW2 nuus), aangesien jy nou so 1337 geraak het? BTW, ek dink jou guild hall het al spinnerakke, ek is hoe lank al MIA in GW... jy moet jou GH fill met die 1337 alliance wat jy nou het :)
 
Yay - loaded Guild Wars again last night - nice and up-to-date. Thank goodness you can buy the expansion packs from the in-game store and they accept paypal - goody! :D
 
Hmmm ... looks like Guild Wars is going to get nice and active again. Maybe I should quit Aion early :D

Sad thing is ... I look at the HoMs of some of my Alliance partners and I get depressed. I've only maxed one title so far.
 
my monument of strength is empty...

as i missed the oppressor stuff, and i didn't like the skins of the torment and destroyer stuff :(

I came more sad, when I estimated difficulty of titles: Allegiance (luxon/kurzik), Drunkard, Sweetooth, Party... Latter three need serious cash investment.

On general, most titles are not so hard. Except for ones in HM.
I even know ways/short-cuts around, if you would like to ask, PM or ask here.

Worry not..I've played so many hours of Guild Wars and I don't think I've maxed a single title! I've been playing Fort Aspenwood almost exclusively for over a year now.
 
I maxed 9 titles now, probably in 3 - 4 months. Could've done it faster if I took the time to just focus on it.

You should just mentally prepare all the people that ask for help -> you should warn them how imba Arina Methos' loot drops is. They should be warned that they wont get ANY/very little valuable drops :p
 
HAHA... Yeah forgot to mention that if your luck with drops sucks in Guild Wars, like a certain ChameleonDevil, you shouldn't come with me as my character tends to get awesome drops and other people don't like that much.

But if you don't care and would like to vanquish, hunt titles etc, let me know!
 
Started capping elite skills, for the skill hunter title track, also pretty close to Kind Of A Big Deal [4/5] then I stopped playing. Looks like GW is filling up again should give it another go. :)
