Q: How would you feel about having a party that you could fill with Heroes?

Our final category proves to be another big positive—50.7% of people say that they “love it,” while 14.4% are between that and “OK,” which comes in at 23.1%. Only 5.7% “hate it like burning,” while the final 6.1% were seemingly indifferent. You can look forward to filling out your party with Heroes as another feature of the free update build that will include Embark Beach.

embark beach is a zaishen outpost
it will allow you to get to any unlocked mission out post. so teaming will become centralized :)

I love that! Zaishen Outpost for making finding groups easier or a party filled with Heroes! Thats what I wanted, and just yesterday told Sou1Co11ector I wished I could use more heroes.

Thanks Tank, wouldnt have seen this or known about it haha ;)

Except, you know me, I dont like to do a rentabuild that much ;), its still going to be you HAVE to run this EXACT build. So, instead of doing rentabuild, I would just like to use heroes most of the time MY way, instead of elitest groups that are set on completing a mission 2 min 30.12555 seconds faster.

Part of the fun for me is trying builds I create; yeah sure there are insanely nice builds on PVX, doesnt mean I use them all.

I tend to use the builds on PvX Wiki as a base for my own builds - so that I get something that works for me, rather than for other people. You can get some interesting results by toying around.

As an example - the build I used to finally finish BLA last night was one I got of PvX (didn't play around with it) - it was nice enough, but I kept running into energy management issues - even though I wasn't supposed to struggle for energy. But, its a pretty nice build, so I'm going to keep it and play around with it for a while.

Yeah, I'm using PvX builds, but modify them to my need/liking. Just looked at sabway/discordway... Large difference from what I had at end of day.

i make my own builds unless i need to do something specific and my own skills don't work to well

other than that i just wing it really

For my warrior the base for most of my builds atm is Warriors Endurance.

The best I have for energy management & I can then use a bunch of 16 strength skills to wreak havoc onto my foes. Adding some cool PvE only skills like Asuran Scan for +80% extra damage to the foe, or I might swap it with Pain Inverter to quickly get rid of a certain foe that does waaaaay tooooo much damage, mostly elementalists with AoE spells.

Also popping in Save Yourselves! is great, especially if there is another warrior with Save Yourselves! equipped... +100 for 5 - 8 secs really helps!

Long before SoS came into play, I had some scythe build, that was dishing +100 damage per hit with Avatar forms and PvE skills.

i tend to play without these new fangled pve only skills...

durn kids... get off ma lawn!

(started gw in dec 2006....)

The current Enduring Scythe build dishes out an average of 150 DPS.

It is an epic build!

Combo it with some Sentinels Insignias (+20 armor vs Elemental Damage) and a sundering scythe of enchanting with Have Faith or Strength of Honor inscriptions and you have a recipe for some great AoE killing funsiez!

My build had some great anti-caster effect. If caster gets under my scythe, while I'm under Avatar of Lyssa, could get ~300 damage if was activating a skill.

/Awaits for Dervish updates. :)

my prefered build on my warrior currently

skills: riposte, deadly riposte, bonetti's defence, endure pain, defy pain, dolyak signet, res chant, mending.

stats: healing prayers 8, strength 16, tactics 11, swords 3.

healing prayers at 8 for 3 regen from mending. 16 strength is the kicker though :D

endure pain provides a lekker boost of 314 health for 19 seconds but defy pain is by far the best one since it's adrenaline based :)
can keep this puppy near constantly as long as i can keep hitting, 314 health, 20 additional armor and -11 damage reduction!

combined with a sup absorption rune and full knights insignia, i can tank most anything plus the high health boost, well over a 1100hp
means i am able to take alpha strikes quite well :)

Damn that's a pity. Is it possible to get the scythe with just heroes and henchies?

Basically you just need to find the upgrade components for the Scythe :

- A max damage (9-41) Scythe
with a Dmg +15% (HP > 50%) inscription.

Then add :

- Zealous Scythe Snathe
- Scythe Grip of Enchanting (max : 20% enchant)

Ask in Kamadan / LA for upgrade components, dont know what prices will be though.

Or you can try and find a green; for example Asterius Scythe dropped by that Warrior bison in Varajar Fells.

Ah okay. I'm pretty broke right now, so farming for one would be better for me. I actually killed that bison last night and since I now know where he is I might as well go and farm him for that scythe tonight. :)
