I have left when first seeing the awesome epicness that will be Guild Wars 2 in April/May and also because of the lack of love towards Rangers. The HOM Reward Calculator inspired me to play again, and I have accomplished alot since.

However, I feel like rage quitting the game again, try to get a group into Kathandrax (Zaishen bounty) as a ranger to kill Ilsundur or whatever. Gets added into a group, then the group suggests that I go mass interrupt build (i made Punishing shot build) and everyone in group is happy that it could work awesome, so we wait as usual for 2 monks...and then they see a Rit wanting a group...Boom "Kick the Ranger". Wasted two hours getting in group, then try an Assassin runner which gets himself killed 3 times ON HIS WAY to the dungeon. He wastes three BU sets, rages at us, and leaves us at the start of dungeon.

Because the Rit Spirit Spam is in the GW META (OR WHATEVER ELSE that is the holy grail of GW META), it gets added in place of (ANY OTHER UNWANTED PROFESSION) an interrupt build in this case, I sure hope the flowstone eles burned the shit out of them :/ gl to them then, no Mesmer / interrupts. Brainwashed idiots that can only do it the PVX Wiki way.

I AM SO F^^&& sick and tired of this shit everywhere.

You can do it with heroes and other player. In HM.
Team composition: player with SoS, player necro with chilling build, 6 discord duo heroes. Worked like a charm, without cons.

my regular group consists of me, 2 other warriors and a imba para. so with you in as the 4th dwg all we need is the UA, HB and SoS.
 
@Onsluaght I also got my mini moa chick yesterday after completing Sorrow's Furnace with H&H. Now I just have to do the smae with my main character then I can sell the other one and add Sorrows Furnace to my HoM.

I'd like to join in then if I can - I can do the SoS with my Ele - I'll have to mod the build a bit to make allowances for LB skills. Actually, I just need to work on that build anyway - it could be better than it is at the moment.
 
well we had a Ranger/Rit one run, Beleg something or other, can't remember the name now, but he did the sos for us and holy damn hell did he rock. did it better than most rit's i've been with.

so yeah i don't see why not.

One thing I can truely say about Sorrows is the Statue is seriosuly awesome - Love that one and the Mallyx one (only cause of the time it took to kill the bugger)

some guild was taking members on practice runs, so i tagged along :D

got it first go FOR FREE! well not entirely...

i said they could keep all drops :)

and would you believe it? an ecto dropped for me :p
 
Its still cheaper than getting a runner! Congrats, I just need my Phoenix leveled to 20 so I can dedicate it, then I have all three ...

My Phoenix is now lvl 13, last night I used my epic Beast Mastery / Spear build, and added Pyre too, gave him same build (except PVE skills); got him to charm a lvl 12 Lioness, and then I vanquished one area in Nightfall last night. The DPS is actually ROFL, 2 pets doing same thing, we take down a healer / priest down very quickly. Vanquished with Pyre, Livia, Dunkoro, and 3 henchies; with 7 in group it was very easy : alot easier than I imagined. Now for my next vanquish, the next thing I want to try is to go triple ranger / pet and remove Livia. Trying something different is alot of fun.
 
What's nice now with the rangers is that you don't need to have charm animal equipped to have your pet along - as long as you have the pet healing skill (forgot the name). That opened up a very necessary slot.
 
Yep there are two skills that I know of that does that (they were changed sometime this year, previously the functionality was just with Charm Animal), an elite Heal As One, and then Comfort Animal. I use Comfort Animal, because the elite I use gives alot of damage to the build (and energy management if used correctly).
 
I've done my vanquisher by incident. I thought/heard that triple necro will be nerfed, just done it very fast... Who knows, how it may turn out, like with DTSC -- nerfed and now it is much harder to get savior titles. By then, regular builds were a bit powerless.

Congrats Tank :) So you are nearly done with all your stuff... you better slow down; what you going to do when your finished ? and GW2 is still lightyears away..

Lol rage quit death o.O, I rage quit every day but I make sure I just close the game before I do something I regret :P
