Guild Wars - General Discussion

I just need to get my character and hero builds right. I just gave up last night when on the 5th try I managed to die just after saving the second villager. I ran out of summoning and DP removal items :(

But ... there must be a way to get past them - ANet said they did some balancing to the quests in the latest release because people were complaining about the difficulty. So if I can just get past that part I can carry on. Wanna see the whole Miku Arc.
 
I was gifted the Guild Wars Trilogy this weekend. Will let you know what my character's name is once my internet connection is stable enough to let me download it and create an account.
 
You know what I just realised was one of the most awesome things (still actually is) about GW.

The fact that you could join your mates at any time without any of this "which server are you playing on?" crap.

The only reeeeal problem is pre-searing chars :D

In other news, I haven't touched my gw in quite awhile :( Just can't get the time to vanq anymore it seems...
 
Okay so I've been playing a little (or a lot tbh) GW1 to earn some of the HoM unlocks. Now I've got 7 points so far and I'm really only aiming for 10.

Now I have a problem getting my statue for my heroes. I've gotten Koss' elite sunspear armour but I for some reason can't redeem it at the Fellowship monument. Can someone in the know perhaps point me to what I'm missing?

Have you got the tapestry for it? Have you had the Armorer make it Koss'es Default Armour?

You should just click on the "Fellowship" tablet and click add a statue to monument then add Koss, is Koss in your party?
 
I figured it out. The character I'm playing currently has no tapestries even though they were displayed (account wide view or something). Very confusing, but now it's more hours of playing just to get a tapestry. This game is just too grindy for me...
 
Climbed back on the bicycle recently! Started to level up my imbagon, hopefully it makes it easier to find pug groups for those high level places...

Almost done with vanqing Nightfall as well, and I only need a few more HM dungeons over there, if anyone wants some help or something, add me "Magnar Malok"
 
I should start getting back into the game as well - I want to get my HoM to 30/50 at least (currently on 23) - and I also want to finish the Winds of Change quests :)
