Gunnar gaming glasses review (MyGaming)

I saw these demoed at rAge, I wasn't sure what they were until I actually asked. I was watching the screen quite closely and was impressed at how they prevent straining on the eyes. Every gamer should own a pair of these!! :)
 
i want a pair really bad but i have to wear corrective lenses now as too much time on the PC has messed my eyes up... id buy a pair but with the cheapest ones at around 500 thats a bit heavy just to test with
 
Can these glasses help in preventing damaging your eyes from staring at a PC screen all day during work? I would get them just for that reason alone.

And where the hell can I buy a pair online?

i have a pair. I have had them for a while now and love them. For the people with glasses, not sure how they can help, due to SA not having the prescription option here yet. Other than than love then use them everyday.

They certainly do.
I don't own any gaming peripherals but own two pairs of GUNNAR's.
Goodbye burning eyes and goodbye headaches.
Highly recommended.
 
I have been wrestling with the idea to buy a pair of these for months now. I have heavy eye strain and get headaches because of that. A lot.

But they aren't really cheap...(I suppose I have to decide how much my eyes and brain means to me :D and then maybe just get a pair.

When are you doing a comp for these James? Nudge Nudge Wink Wink Say no more!

yea i used to only be able to jam for 2-3 hours at a time before having to take a brake(which is needed for food, or a toilet brake >< ) but still have the burning eyes and headache after so cant jam for 6 -7 hours. Being at a desk now i spend about 9 hours at the office and 5 -6 at home. So being at the office pc for 9 hours made my Home PC time = null, kinda sucked but i tried the glasses and boom, i could jam for longer. Its got some getting used to with the yellow tint. I would recommend good headphones, with it if you dont have glasses. But all in all love them when i game or watch a movie i have them on even when browsing in use them.
