Hackers at it again, claim to be hacking Sony right now

I love how far ahead they're thinking. So - worst case scenario - they shut Sony down.

What then? No more Playstations, no more PS games - millions of gamers no longer able to network or play the games they shelled out for multiplayer.

Nice going hackers. That's what you'll get for thinking with the hair on your chests.

Yeah very clever hackers. And by clever, I mean idiots. Die wiel draai. Somehow, they will get their asses handed to them.
 
So happy I decided to go Xbox over PS3. Now I can just sit back, eat popcorn and watch all this unfold with a smile on my face. Not trying to be a dick, but it is very amusing.

Much like Linux/Apple/Microsoft fanboys, so are you an Xbox/Ps fanboy. What you don't notice is the wool pulled over your eyes by Sony. Sony has for a very long time threatened, silenced and sued their way across their player/fan-base for *extending* the uses of the hardware they created (and I don't mean piracy). According to them, your PS3 isn't owned by you, but by them. Why shell out R3k for something that will never belong to you? Why live in fear of being sued for millions if you so much as turn your system into something you'd like it to do (if that is over and above the purpose you bought it for anyway?)

The fear-mongering and down right invasion of privacy (anyone remember that little stunt they pulled a fears years back? No? Google it!) and disregard of their loyal fanboys (like you guys) has come back to bite them in the ass.

What do they say.... "Do not bite the hand that feeds you"

Sony has been in a downwards spiral ever since they released the PS3. The internet is bigger than this and sony's pubilicity team's sites you guys, I suggest opening your eyes and reading the evidence put infront of you and THEN deciding what these "hackers" are doing isn't just because they're "hairless/pubeless teens with a small penis" but because they're sick & tired of being treated the way Sony treats everyone.

Well with Sony announcing the PS4, you can just imagine the rage this will cause. And the fact that the last PS3 hacker/jailbreaker got nailed what will the steps be for the PS4 hackers...?

So perhaps console makers should sell licences to use their hardware just a commercial software publishers do? I think it is reasonable for SONY to withold certain priviledges/features from users who use SONY's hardware for purposes for which it was intended, just as Microsoft does when people make certain modifications to their Xboxen.

So because Sony is "evil" all it's users need to suffer for it? I'm sorry but that's so self righteous. They can't decide what's best for everyone, no matter what their motivation. It's completely inexcusable.

This isn't about Sony being right or wrong Acid. This is about a group of hackers who have decided that might is right (pretty much the same thing they accuse Sony of doing), and don't give a rat's arse about the impact it is having on legit consumers of the product.

So I'll put this in terms YOU understand - they're pretty much in the same group as hard-line Islamic militants, who strap bombs to themselves and run into a checkpoint - killing maybe 5 US soldiers and 20 of their own people, because, you know ... fuck the people. They're sticking it to the man ... collateral damage is a given. They should've just gotten out the way, right?

If Sony shuts down (not that I see it happening), many millions of users of Sony products will end up suffering. But that's okay, right, cos the hackers will have made their point.

This is really lame. I hope they all get fined a lot of money or worse. I don't care what Sony did to deserve it. They didn't murder anybody or rob people. These hackers are in fact terrorists and are stealing not only from Sony, but also from us, the consumer. Now these hackers have not only made an enemy of Sony, but also of the people. So sick of this now. They need to get over it and move onto doing whatever else they do... oh right, probably nothing better to do. :P C*nts!
 
Its annoying. THere are other ways to tackle it. I think they need to realise that 2 wrongs dont make a right. (no smart comments on a - * - = +)
