Halo 3 MP Players

The Reach Beta is ticking closer and after spending 5 hours tonight jamming Halo 3 MP i dont know if ill ever go back to MW2.

So are the any Halo 3 MP players out there? Playing these internationals blows coz most of the time is me and someone else holding the fort. So im looking for 4 guyz or gurls who are keen on partying up.

So ur a Fire Fight Guy? Well i started last night and fell in love with Halo 3's MP. The second disk of ODST that has the complete halo 3 MP experience on it, got me thinking. Add me on Xbox live and we can make a plan to run through a few matches.

I haven't played regular Halo 3 over LIVE for a while now (although I do play it semi-regularly with friends in split-screen). I love Firefight, though.

Still, if you guys have the extra map packs and stuff and someone's got a 4MB line, I don't mind joining in a few games. I'm kinda rubbish at Halo, but I always have loads of fun.

Well the general idea is to have a team that i can take and kick some yank ass. Last night me and 1 other guy held off a four man team for an entire match, losing by like 3 or so kills. I still want to play ranked matches, just with people i can trust on myside.

Yeah had some guy saying "you suck, you suck omega dick" and i was like... hmmm me and 1 other person managed to hold off your 4 man team and loose by only a couple of kills. But didn't say anything. If you do it just gets worse. Had one good moment last night though, 2 team mates zeros if u know what i mean (one was like 9 or something if his voice was anything to go by) was chatitng away and in one lobby screen he was asking the other guy who i was and why i hadn't said anything to which i said "Nows the time it pays to be the strong silent type" i dont think they got it though but then again who cares sounded really AWESOME. Thank god for mute.

Oh, I see. I'm not really into playing ranked. The Halo community isn't a particularly nice one.

The ranked Gears community is just as bad tbh.

I'm loving Uncharted 2's community though.

Actually, most ranked communities blow. It's an environment entirely designed to promote competitive play. It practically prints assholes.

Well the experience I had with most of the local guys have been nice when I move I will start hosting things like Halo, Borderlands and GOW2 evenings my ADSL is currently utter carp so hosting is a no go for me only joining.

I can't say my experiences with local gamers have been much better either. I'm initially abused for being (obviously) a 10-year old kid because of my voice, then abused with a barrage of friend invites when they realise why my voice sounds like that. Smooth. Also, not.

Actually, that's kinda a different thing, though, I guess. Being a female gamer online is quite shitty.

Ahah not much better here because of my heavy Afrikaans accent and my psychotic laugh. But I like to see more females play online hell I have gotten my ass kicked by them on a regular basis while playing GOW 2.
