I would like to retract the following earlier statement:

As to my personal reason why? If Bungie doesn't make it, its not Halo. Also Master Chief's Story has been told. Making another sequel will be like Police Academy, Predator or Alien movies... it would suck.

I have very high reservations about this and not just from a few 'discrepancies' in the trailer. discrepancies like the sudden, and unexplained, arrival of a boosterpack on the Mark VI Mjolnir Armor or the fact that the armor for some reason doesn't look as battered as it did when the Chief entered the cryo pod after blowing up the Ark.

I will keep an eye on this but will be the first to say, they may have just killed the Halo Franchise.
 
Playing HALO on my bud's original XBOX was the reason I bought a XBOX 360. I gotten all the HALO games from HALO 3 and definitely going to be adding this to my collection :)
I heard that there's going to be a new HALO trilogy with Master Chief afterwards. Awesome!

And that ladies and gentle assholes is why they will continue to rape our beloved IP....
 
Don't judge a book by its cover. This might just be the best Halo game yet. I don't think MS will allow that their flagship IP gets "raped"

I'm pretty sad to hear their is a Halo 4, purely because its not Bungie who are making it. I feel anyone else wont care about it as much and will possibly stuff up a damn good series. But a part of me really really hopes its awesome.

We can only hope but just that trailer sent alarm bells ringing. Bungie had the midas touch, 343 still has to prove they can handle the IP.
 
I was really convinced that Halo: Reach was going to be the last Halo ever...and then I saw this. Meh, when will they stop?!
