Halo: The Master Chief Collection Rumored

Halo: The Master Chief Collection has reportedly been revealed for Xbox One.

According to a report from Engadget, the Master Chief Collection will include remastered versions of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 and will be out this year.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection may aim to refresh gamers' memories about Master Chief in advance of Halo 5: Guardians, which was announced today. As such, it doesn't look like Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach will be included.

Microsoft has not confirmed the project. It's still unknown who's developing, the resolution and frame rate, or if the collection will release on other platforms.

Xbox only. I am destined never to see or try this game. The graphics of Halo always look so polished.

Heh... You and me both.

I enjoyed the first (and only) Halo, which came out on PC.

But that's pretty much where my experience and interest in the series halted.
 
I played, finished and adored Halo 3 on XBOX 360 many years ago. I'd love to play the later installments, but sold my 'box 2 years ago due to it just gathering dust.

Halo 2 was on PC, at the time it was launched it would only work on Windows Vista, soon after launch though a patch was out to make it work on XP.

You know, I never knew that.

Always figured PC only had Halo one. Kind of keen to try Halo 2 suddenly :D
 
I really don't see the big deal in halo. My little brother loves it but I find it meh.
 
I'm much the same. I played the first Halo but didn't really find it that impressive. My brother bought into all the hype surrounding the series and Master Chief though. He got Halo 2 only because he couldn't get Halo 3 or anything after that, because he doesn't have an Xbox 360.
 
Even without having played a single game in the franchise thus far, I've become enthralled with the Halo universe after reading the wiki for days and watching theRadBrad's walkthrough of Halo 4. XD So, I'm looking really forward to this. Only wish it was on PC...*sigh*
