Hands-on with the Nintendo Switch

So after my brief time with the console, I have a few thoughts to add as well:

The joycons are a bit small for my big-ass hands. I feel a bit awkward holding only one and using it as a controller. But the rumbling is freaking weird. Really interesting how the rumbling really feels different from what you'd expect from a controller.

The screen is, despite only 720p, really clear and the perfect size for that resolution. I agree with the article that it feels real good in hands while the joycons are attached. They add a bit of bulk to the console that is useful

In gaming I only got to play 1-2 Switch, and it had that Wii vibe to it. That party game experience for the whole family. It's fun and I wish I got to play something else though. Also, split screen on the console in mobile version is gonna be difficult.

Overall I'm really interested in the console. I've got a lot of traveling in my future, and this is absolutely perfect to provide console gaming on the go. I hope Nintendo can get 3rd party devs involved and some form of backwards compatibility for older games.
