Hard-Reset demo live on Steam

Is it really just me that thinks this game looks pretty boring? I mean, it looks a bit bland to be honest..Just a bunch of robots running around. It doesn't even look like you can dismember them and have them crawl towards you and stuff like the robots in Mass Effect 2 :P

And there's no life in the envoronments..just robots trying to attack you..dunno, not my cup of tea I guess.

Videos that i saw of it, the graphics looked great, but the game looks bit boring!

Busy downloading now, although it will probably only be done tonight as I'm downloading D&D online as well and that is taking all my bandwith. Looks like fun to me so I'm keen to give it a shot.

I will download the demo tonight and see if it's any good. I mean this game just came from nowhere.

Not too bad, bit linear as they said, comic based story telling, ok game play, same as gameplay video

Also played it last night. It's fun, but I probably won't buy it with all the other awesome games coming out now and in the near future. Best thing it has going for it is the awesome transforming guns, but it's not enough to warrant a purchase straight away.

Tried out the demo. It was quite fun messing around, the weapons are cool, especially once you upgrade them. The animations are impressive and I had fun messing around with the physics. Launched a gravity grenade and it sucked debris in and swirled it around as well as enemies. Elements of it actually reminded me of Dead Space even though it is first person: no hud, upgrade bench, bit of dismemberment with the bigger robots (one surprised me as I thought I'd taken it out but as I walked past it's shell it reached out and hit me with it's remaining arm.)

When the demo ended I was left wanting more, I'll probably get the game at some stage, though not at this stage with all the big releases.

Interesting interesting. I'll have to download the demo and check it out for myself, doesn't sound as bad as people have been going on about it.

I found it quite fun but the demo was very short, hard to tell much really. I got a sort of painkiller vibe to the combat, lots of dodging and shooting and explosions and health pickups. If they pull it off it will be a nice change of pace from military/cover based shooters.
