Very nice. I got myself a led full hd 40" for about that price(R500 cheaper)And games on it look awesome :D
 
Wow, looks good, enjoy it guys.

And to think I'm getting my TV only fixed for half that price. Almost worth just buying a new one. Sigh

Thanks, well we went with the extended warranty so total is now 5 year warranty.
We bought it on credit though so its a huge amount we need to pay off but at the end all the reasons will pay off.
The tv is just too overpowering for my computer.
 
Next thing though. I want to connect my pc/tonis laptop using hdmi from computer to tv. Looking at getting something at least 1.8m, whats the best option to go for. Pref a walk shop in Cape Town - southern suburbs/peninsula.

The cheapest, at the time (about 10months ago), was that small PC/Games store on the ground floor in Kenilworth Centre. They had 2m HDMI cables for about R60. It was the cheapest I could find. Can't remember the name of shop.
 
I think that place is Computer Games or something. I think outside Checkers if I am not mistaken. I will give them a try. Is it a normal HDMI cable that I need or is it a specific type?

Yes - bugs me no end when I see something going for a song compared to what I paid :(

On a good note I paid R3870 for a Sony 40" Bravia LCD at Game with their 'price beat' promo. The TV was on special with a HD PVR 2 for R5999, Makro discounted it on the last day of the Game sale to R4299 (manager's special), and Game then price beat it with a 10% discount.

Yay internet research !!!!!

Well at least you didn't pay R10k which I did for a Samsung 40" about 3 years ago :mad:
