Hey
First off; sorry if this thread was discussed previously
; but I'm in need of some help from a South African perspective.
I'm looking to buy an HDTV
. Previously, the only spec I was told to concern myself with was 1080p functionality. However; now every single manufacturer is touting some variant of motion enhancement technology (Sony's Motion Flow and Samsung's Motion Plus).
I mean, a V series Bravia (with Bravia Engine 3 and 1080p functionality) will set me back about R13 000. However, getting an identical set with 100 Hz Motion Flow balloons the price to R21 000.
So, is it really worth investing the extra R8000 to get 100Hz functionality? I mean, when walking into Look&Listen and BT games; the games and Bluray movies running on their 720p HD displays look awesome (not sure if they using plasmas or LCDs
).
Shot for the advice in advance.
