Heading back to WoW

Heh, after 4 months of no WoW I came back. I can't see my self staying for longer than a month. I don't do the hardcore raiding anymore. It took us just little less than a month to clear all the current content (not including heroics because really who wants to do stuff twice i find it extremely boring).

And offer up a Sunday from 5PM to 11 PM or 2 weeknights just isn't worth it. There is so much more to do.

I an attempt to quit WoW completely I deleted all my chars last year. When the expansion came out I played again for 2 months, and leveled a new char to 71, trying to level slowly to see all the new content. Which was fun. But then the feeling described by Lycanthrope ^ set in and I quit again. Hoping some new MMO comes my way before I start falling for WoW again...

Just holding on for Titan, really keen to see how that will go, I mean how often do Blizzard fail with their games? :P

Ive been trying Rift for a bit.
But i just doesn't have that grasp that wow had, that need to play.
Been thinking of getting back into wow, getting the lock to 85 but not sure if that will last either!

It won't :p

I actually enjoy Rift more than WoW. It's the customisability of the characters as well as the ability to swap "class roles" on the fly. Oh, and the rifts are fun.

Should I feel like dipping my toes in an MMO again before SW:OR gets released then I'll probably grab up Rift.

Yeah the Rifts are fun!
Ive lvled a warrior to 40 then i switched to rogue as i dont wana be a tank.
Rogue has been sitting on 48 for like 2weeks now.
Got rested XP to take me to 50.
Just havnt gotten the urge to get in there and lvl.

Why does it have to have a monthly fee =/ Otherwise I'd love RIFT. I usually don't mind monthly fees as long as the game is on point but lately finances have been a bit low.

I'm probably starting with LOTRO soonish. Looks very much like WoW but the story line sounds interesting.

I tried the LOTRO a while back, its ok.
The story line is better than wow, it just feels slow!
And the micro transactions are not cool.
If you end up enjoying it you will start paying a monthly fee just to get around all the bullshit like bag space ect

I play druid on the EU server Quel'Thalas, medium population, in the server 1st alliance guild though :) 9/13 atm.

The nice/annoying thing about WoW is that it is absolutely DELIGHTFUL getting back into it ... but 2 months later you're bored with it again. I've been on and off WoW for the last 3 years and it doesn't bug me too much, seeing as I'm not too phased with raiding. I burnt myself out in lvl80 Naxx progression and decided to end it there.

I couldn't agree more. I've experienced the exact same! All the way down to Naxx progression raids. When Ulduar finally came out I went for 2-3 more runs, and then stopped. Naxx was a lot of fun though, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Naxx was indeed fun! I started in early TBC days, but never got further than Kara (best instance EVER) clear and a few bosses into Zul Aman.

I also stopped after a few nights of Ulduar and I never saw the rest of the fights (only ever got to Hodir I think). When I came back it was ICC progression and after we got Saurfang down I also bailed again. Came back for Cata and left soon after we downed the Tol Barad boss in 25man.

I just love exploring - hence I often bail on MMO's as soon as I reach near end lvl (as I've done with Rift)

How is Rift in comparison to WoW? It sounds like more of the same, but a little bit revamped. As soon as I have a bit more cash I either intend to get back to WoW to level to 85 (I have Cata), or start Rift.

The best WoW of my life was in Kara.

I quit but am busy patching it again just to give me something to do (I tried RL but damn, it's expensive!)
