Hi I would like to get some good headphones in the next few days as my current headphones I bought for under R200 is starting to break :D.

My budget is between 1k-2k and need either a usb/wireless or headphones with 1 jack which does both headphones/mic as my laptop only has 1 jack which acts as both.

Thanks for helping

I asked a similar question the other day.

One suggestion:

I have a set of Kingston Hyper-X Clouds and they are the best headsets I have ever had. Great sound and very comfortable. Mic can be a little quiet sometimes (I am told) but that is about it. It comes with the little adapter to go from two connectors to a single 4 pole one. Used it in my phone a few times and the mic and speakers work perfectly.

You can pick them up from quite a few places and you should come away with a nice bit of change for R2000 still!

Thanks so much will look out for both headphones and will check out that thread and my earphones cord (got the exact one in your picture) isn't long enough anyway to be used.

I found Kingston Technology HyperX Cloud II Gaming 7.1 Headset - Gun Metal on Raru for R1791 not surprisingly R500 cheaper than Takealot.com.

From what I have heard online (and my own experience with the Cloud I), you probably dont need the II as it is still the same headset but with a USB soundcard. So it is not a true 7.1 headset. The first version is also quite a bit cheaper, I believe. Anyway, just thought I would share...

Hi Ichigo

I bought these in May for less than R2000.

Moved from ROCCAT (5.1) to Corsair and SO HAPPY!!!
