Headset - Wireless Advice

Hi All,

Been contemplating getting a new headset,

I am looking to go wireless as im tired of the mess of the cables constantly(dont mind cables now and then but everyday is now driving me up the wall in my limited space) and dont have an issue charging batteries every 6 hours or so. If the batteries die an option to plug a cable in and charge while play is a bonus.

Been looking at the following and wondering if anyone has either of these and can give opinions:

Corsair Vengeance 2000 - http://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance...ngeance-2000-wireless-7-1-gaming-headset.html
Logitech F540 - http://www.logitech.com/en-za/gaming/headsets/7362

The price difference is not much between them. the vengeance is not true surround sound, its virtual and the drivers pick it up in windows as a stereo headset.

Anyone have experience with either headset or any other ideas for wireless. My budget is about R1300 max which both of these fit into. Yes i do understand you get what you pay for and its best to get better if possible but if i could get any better I would, my headphones are pretty stuffed and need sound asap :) the reviews on both seem that the sound quality is actually pretty good, they both seem pretty comfortable and they both good for games and music as far as the reviews go that ive seen.

Not sure which would be better, or any other ideas?

Thanks

IF it is for console then the Logitech. IF it is for pc then Corsair is the way to go.

I have the G930s and they are incredible. they are out of your budget range though . but the headies are excelent.

The F540 are for xbox Ps3 and TV you an use it for your pc but they use jsut as much cables haha.

thanks avatar, I did see the previous thread but never saw anyone comment on the f540's so was wondering between the 2 sets as im pretty determined on wireless.

Seems the corsair set is the way to go as ill be doing mostly pc gaming. The vengeance 1500's get very good reviews by just about everyone and the v2000's are not much different as far as ive heard besides for the fact that they wireless. Also i dont have the greatest sound card so guess USB sound would be my best option aswell.

Again thanks for the responses, now to go and bite the bullet and buy the v2000's :D
