So annoyed with the players who buy packs & packs of cards with real cash and then just destroy me![]()
this is the very same point my friends and i were discussing a couple days ago. Hearthstone is absolutely PERFECT for a tablet. the flicking of the cards with your finger? YES PLEASE!
I haven't spent a single cent of real money on this game, and don't intend to, and I've played for several weeks, maybe 6 to 8 weeks? Mostly I do Arena runs after I finish the daily quests.
I have a kickass Hunter deck that I used to go from Rank 25 to Rank 15 this weekend, managed to win most of the games I played with it.
Hunter decks and their Beasts have insane synergy, and there are so many cards like that, the deck doesn't rely on a single set of cards for combos either.
You *can* win, and play well, without spending money on the game. Sure, some guys pay money and end up crafting especially good decks, with some legendaries etc. but that doesn't mean they *will* win. Having a legendary or three in your deck still means there's a small chance of getting that legendary card at the right time while you play.
I've crafted a few cards with the dust I get from disenchanting extra cards I get, specifically rare cards that I feel will do well in my deck.
It is a bit like Magic the Gathering, some guys could spend lots of money for lots of boosters and get a nice spread of cards and trade etc. Other guys couldn't spend that much and only ever traded to make their one or two decks they had, work well. You can disenchant class-specific cards in Hearthstone of classes that you don't like, and craft cards for a class that you do like, to make the deck for that class work better.

Do you mean you HAD a kickass hunter deck? From my understanding the Arena games are a selection of random cards within the game, not with in your collection?
His hunter deck is for normal construction play. Hence the "from Rank 25 to Rank 15" part of his post. You don't rank up (or down for that matter) in Arena matches.
O ok got you... Thats what i thought but im still getting to grips with the whole arena thing... I find it quite interesting that they random your cards, as it either makes it really fair, or incredibly unfair... If you get a crap roll you pretty screwed...
hmm...say, what about if you run some sort of iPad-PC "remote desktop" app? coudn't you then play Hearthstone "on your ipad" ?

Could probably get it right with team viewer even... But a native app would be awesome...
splashtop will be the way to go here. teamviewer is slow and runs through your internet conection so dulls down graphics like any other rdp does.Yep you can do it with any RDP app.. Teamviewer or Splashtop. I've used it already, works well.

splashtop works through your wifi and runs smoothly and looks great. I've even watched series on my tab via splashtop
