Hearthstone Thread

How about we have a small league tonight at 7? We can organise it straight from the forums. The rules being you may ONLY use the starter decks (AKA level 10 decks of a class). This should put everyone on an even playing field?

that is too early for me, I think i will only be able to get on about 8:30 or nine.
 
I played last night and tbh i found it kind of lacking i just didnt feel the draw that would keep me constantly coming back :(

Yeah, you only really get the good basic cards when you push a class to level 10. Once you get all hero classes past level 10, you got all the good basic cards.

Insanity - I know, I went through this too. It really gets better once you hit a class with level 10 and unlock all the basic cards for that class. Then, either buying booster packs to get better cards, OR, entering the Arena.

The Arena is what makes this game SO addictive for me at the moment.

I had similar issues playing Priest, so I went back to Warrior (my current favourite) and was back to wiping the floor with people.

Il be in next week... Iv only got 3G at home at the moment, and looking for a client download while im at work... Any ideas? Dont want to DL 2.4 gigs at home over 3G...
 
Got screwed in Arena today..... by the game itself. It's definitely in Beta still. Was sitting on 2 wins 1 loss, clicked play, found opponent and then the game went crazy. It thought I was out of cards before the game even started. I lost six health to out of card fatigue when it wanted to draw me my starting health and continued to lose health until i died.

Was so pissed off..... :(

Ended my arena run 4-3
 
i just installed Hearthstone now and LOVE it! its a lot more engaging and streamlined than MTG. I found that MTG became to dull and drawn out. matches ended up being long slogs of attrition. but Hearthstone felt fresh and snappy.

how about we try and get a local MyGaming league going ?

How to have a lol:

1. Go Priest
2. Build a deck with 2x Divine Spirit, 2x Power Word: Shield(optional), 1x Inner Fire
3. Last until +- 7th turn
4. Hope for those 3 cards
5. Spam them on a 6 or 7 health monster
6. 1 Hit with well over 30 Attack

Malice see if you can run a repair through the launcher or go to the game folder and check if there is a repair option
