Hearthstone Thread

I have recently discovered Hearthstone (after they released it on Android). Would like to play against some of you guys. Battle Tag - GaaTY#2896

The addiction this game is just like with my WoW days. Which is now what I want to get again. And try it. Again.
 
This game is awesome! Just wish they would make it easier to install on smaller tablets/phones.
it is such a mission to install it on my S5. Love this game, and plan to play it in DGL next year!!!

How is it an issue to install? As far as I am aware, you need at east a 6" screen for the mobile device.

On the S5 or any smaller android, you need to install it manually. You can't DL it from the play store and just install it
 
I got hammered last night after trying my luck in the arena.
by some miracle i managed to get 1 win :) but got beaten badly in the other 3.

Yeah man arena is tough. Cards that are good in normal constructed could be terrible cards In arena. Just play more and more and you'll get it! Then again this is coming from someone who only got up to like 5 wins :/

The arena is very tough for some reason! 4 Wins is the most I have gotten thus far!

My highest win streak in the Arena was 7 wins. After that, I have not been able to beat it. Getting 1 win max lately.
 
I accepted some friend requests last night, sorry only ended up getting online at about 9...

Most iv got so far is 8 wins in Arena, Im so desperate for that magical 12 wins... Arena has gotten a lot more interesting with the release of GvsG :D

Nothing thats when you WIN ARENA!!!

0-2 wins you open 2 boxes of goodies, 3-7 wins 3 boxes of goodies, 8-11 wins 4 boxes of goodies, and 12 wins 5 boxes of goodies... If im not mistaken...

Short Term Goal for this weekend: 12 WINS IN THE ARENA!!

Are there specific cards I should look out for? Lately I've been stocking up with low cost minions to establish board control, and then high cost minions for later (If I reach that far). Spells are scarce...

Lol... Its a lot harder than one might think!

In my opinion you can never have to many 4 drops... Most of the time two 4 drops are better than 1 8 drop, excluding legendary cards obviously... but i find you need to make sure you have a solid mana curve leading up to your 4 drops, and then between 5 and 6ish big creatures to bring you home... Dont underestimate your spells either... but as a general rule, an ok 3 mana cost spell is mostly worse than an ok 3 drop minion...

You want sticky minions as well, so things like harvest golum, haunted creeper, are good early game... piloted shredders... and then you also want things that buff your other minions... like defender of argus, shattered sun cleric, dire wolf alpha can be good...

Most of the time you face very face rush aggro decks till 4 or 5 wins, then it becomes more of a control game...

Shot for the tips man! The 7 win streak I got was with a Mage deck. Dono, I guess I just had the right combination then.

Because lately, I have been getting the worst cards.
