Hearthstone won me over instantly with its "easy to learn, hard to master" style. And I love the little touches of humour. Ogre Magi sound byte still makes me smile :D

fair enough, but I play MTG IRL as well so and found the pc game easier. but yes, Hearthstone is a lot of fun and faced paced as opposed to a MTG game that can drag on for an hour if you play your cards right (pun intended)

Spot on, that's what put me off MTG. games tended to lean more towards battles of attrition. Hearthstone games are pretty much 10 min affairs.

We should get together for a Skype video call and play some MTG some time, I can't find any physical beings that still play this, at least not in my area.

hahaha! yeah that could be interesting. we are quite a big group still playing, and it's still big in CT. had just over 100 people at the last pre-release
 
Won some games last night, now have 6 of the heroes unlocked, helps when you start getting better cards and build a better deck
 
Whoop whoop, all heroes unlocked, now working on getting them all to level 10. Will also be looking into the crafting tonight, seems cool.

Also want to look into the crafting... Im really enjoying the game, and if the crafting can make awesome cards its gona be EPIC!
 
I've crafted a couple of cards I was needing. Harvest Golem ftw! It's the best way to get the cards you need, as long as you have the dust.....

I was lucky enough to get a gold Harvest Golem in an expert pack.

damn, speak of shooting yourself in the foot :)

i've not crafted any cards yet, and since i built my 1st custom deck i've only won 3 games out of perhaps 20
 
I've actuallly been doing better since I've customised my deck, all i suggest is read up a bit about it and try and play with all the other classes so you can learn all 300+ cards :)

Chances are your opponent will want to deal with this 7 attack minion pretty fast so your minions won't cost more for long. Otherwise trade him with an opponents minion and your minions' cost will drop back to normal.
But if your opponent has something like mirror Image to put down it could spell trouble.

i dont get why that card is so good? i have one in my collection but wont add to deck thanks to the painful "special ability".
