I play a hunter deck with 95% just basic cards and that's done me very well... Also have you been crafting cards? And disenchanting anything you have more than 2 of? Because you could probably craft some decent cards to help you...

Yeah it's possible that my win loss ratio was too good. Eh hopefully by now it will more losses so that I can start winning again.

I've been disenchanting duplicates and am saving up for a legendary.

Luckily Arena has been going well so there's still hope! Thanks Tom, I just needed to vent a little. :)
 
Check out Trump's Free to Play decks. He's got ones for Shaman, Warlock and Mage. He's managed to get to legendary with each of them. He's also posted videos on YouTube showing his climb to legendary rank so you can see the play style as well.

None of the decks have any legendaries in them.

I get you, I also get extremely frustrated with the game... I played a mage last night who i got to 5hp, had a board full of creatures, he flame striked, completely empty board, i played another 4 creatures, flame strike again, and then i had no cards in my hand and the bastard beat me "whistling:

If i was you i wouldn't spent the 1600 dust on a legendary... They will come... there was a guy on the Hearth forum that did some insane research and came to the conclusion that you get 1 legendary in every 20 odd packs i think it was... I would concentrate on getting a deck with some nice combo's going, rather than relying on 1 out of your 30 cards if you get what im saying...
 
Hey guys, pretty new to this game, only like 20 wins now, is it better to save up 100 gold and buy card packs, or better to save the extra 50 gold and play arena?

Rather play arena, you'll still get a pack of cards at the end, plus you'll usually get some extra stuff too, depending one how far you get.

Couldnt agree more... For me the Arena is the only choice... Even if you win no games you will get a pack of cards and either like 30 gold or like 30 dust...
 
Not to mention experience and the ability to "try before you buy" - learn cards without having to make them.

Well I'm happy again. Not only did I win all my casual games today but I also won 7 games in arena. And then this happened:

I have tried the Shaman deck and it is pretty awesome. I still need to craft a few of the cards but I am a bit short on dust. I recommend watching the videos where he actually plays the decks, they helped me understand the deck a bit better.

Thank you for the heads up I am currently on rank 15 with the shaman deck only lost like 5 games the synergy is insane very very fun

I have finally crafted everything I need for the Shaman deck. I decided to lose one Drake and add Hogger, the extra taunts come in really handy.
