Hey guys, would you help me please?
Looking at buying a new PC for ze games. Budget is round 9-10k. Have all a screen mouse ect, just looking for a case and everything that goes into it.
So I was thinking:
intel 2500k
intel Extreme series Burrage Mobo
Nvidia 570
Gigabyte Sumo as the case
Gigabyte Odin GT 550w
4gb of transcend ram
and 1gb seagate HDD
This all comes to around 10k mark. I'm a complete noob on what to buy so the above might not be the best build :(
Thanks for your help in advance! :)

i7 2600k
Antec Khuler 620
Gigabyte Z68P-DS3
MSI 6950 unlocked to 6970
8 GIG DDRIII 1333 Ram
Seagate 1TB 7200 HDD
Huntkey Jumper 550w Modular 80+ certified
Zalman Z9 Plus

That should future proof you, its within budget and I am willing to help you build it :)

Thanks Joker, unfortunately the supplier I'll be using doesn't stock alot of brands. Mostly Gigabyte and some MSI thermaltake and corsair they are how ever slightly cheaper than on-line websites.
So here is a revised PC. Let me know what you think of it please
i5 2500k (Can't spend an extra 1k for multi threading)
MSI P67A-C43B3
CORSAIR® XMS3 - Dual-Module Kit 8GB KIT
Seagate® Barracuda™ 7200.12 Series - 1TB Serial ATA II
CORSAIR® Gaming Series 700Watt
MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin frozr II-OC
hermaltake® Armor A90 Gaming Chassis - ATX Middle Tower
That's around the 8.5-9k price range. Cant really justify spending a lot of money on a PC. I still want to be able to play games with decent GFX and frames just not spend a small fortune on top of the range components :)

I'd go with the following

Gigabyte P67A-UD3
i5 2500k
Huntkey 550w PSU
Kingston Hyper x Blu Kit (2 x 2 gb) or grab 2 of these kits for 8 gb total
Gigabyte 560 TI

Any case will suit you, and whatever size hard drive you want.

That GPU is very good value for money and performance is very close to a 570, the 700W isn't really needed but a good option for future proofing your build. I don't know how much you will be spending on your chassis but I see it for around R950 online. I really like the CM Storm Enforcer (personal preference) and it's about R800 online. The rest looks fine, 2500K is more than enough for gaming PC.

CM Storm enforcer is just a scout with a ugly plastic face on it....and why spend R800 on it if you can get a high quality zalman z9 plus for R650?
As for the cpu, yeah 2500k is fine, I ran one, now running 2x 2600k's.
MSI gfx cards are epic...but msi motherboards are fail..so stay away. Asus and Gigabyte offer you great warranty and service, so rather stick to them.

Yes Joker is right. MSI boards are a no go. The 2500k is also a pretty powerful chip. Currently using one. Along with my ATi HD6850 I can run every game at max settings. Heaven 2.0 also runs quite comfortably at 20 - 22 fps (without going ALL out with the sliders :p) at extreme.

Zalman's also your best bet for cases. Been shopping round for my christmas list and the Z9 plus caught my eye. The design is pretty open so it allows for decent cooling, has a lot of space for fans and it comes in at a cool R630, so you're getting bang for your buck. Plus it looks epic compared to other cases in it's price range.

Thanks for all the feed back guys! Ditching the MSI mobo, just wary of some of the gigabyte models as they seems to have trouble with RAM. The one I'm currently using has given me problems from the start and after googling the p67 entry model seems they also suffer from it. Will take a look at the zalman cases :)

Drop me a pm with you're details. I'll be more than happy to help you out with whatever you need, I have my finger in many different pies, so you might only be able to get certain parts, but I can get any part.

I work in a retail store in PE. I can pretty much get anything as well. Gimme a shout if you need some help.

Hey... Why are MSI mobo bad?
I'm using the P67A-GD65 without any issues. Nice thing about it is that when it comes to overclocking, you simply press a button which is great for someone like me who doesn't know what the heck I'm doing if I had to mess around with the manual settings. My 2600K is overclocked to 4.2GHz and runs extremely stable.
Also ran the MSI P55-GD65 mobo in my previous pc for 2 years before upgrading to this one without any issues.

As for the MSI graphics card, I'm using the exact same one and it works great... So far, except for Witcher 2, I've pretty much been able to play everything perfectly. (I'm yet to play Crysis though). With Witcher 2, there is some extreme Uber setting that, if turned on, then the game is barely playable.

This Z9 is a nice case. But it will attract my 3yr old, and then things might go wrong from there. I need something that is more kid proof :-(
