Help needed picking an external harddrive

Hi guys. Looking to buy an external h/d. Looking for something between 750gig and 1tb. Has to be usb 2.0 since I don't have any e sata ports.

Looking to spend max of R1600.

Have identified these options so far:

Just 1 question how difficult is the installation into the enclosures??

Dude its like 2 screws, u take off the back plate slide in the HD re screw the screws and plug in

What you should maybe do before installing the drive into the enclosure is to format it while it's in your PC. It'll go faster than trying to format through USB.

Pick up da transcend 250 gig drive for 499 ex vat from rectron. Its also millitary drop tested, so u can crush it with ur car ect. it will still be fine

250gig is too small beside I don't have an account with rectron.

I've got the Thermaltake Max4. Works very nicely, the fan keeps everything nice and cool. Pricy tho.

That Trancend looks good for what you pay. That might be the best option.
