Im looking at upgrading my out-of-date Intel and am looking at venturing in the AMD.

Seems like prices are quite decent compared to Intel.

Can existing AMD users recommend a very good setup?

So yeah that's a good mid-highish game rig. For about your budged.
You could add another gpu in and run it in crossfire plus get the games driver from Amd.

What PSU do you have because you might need to get one then as well.
450 Watt or greater power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors recommended (600 Watt and two 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in dual mode)
For the 5770 GPU series.

I dunno how good the Odin 585w is tbh - I had one blow on me this month :/

Its a decently entry level high end PSu it will work absolutely fine as long as it isnt stressed too much.. i usually bundle then with my lower to mid range PC as stock PSU are just rubbish. About them blowing i was using ODIN power supply befor i switch to my current power supply.
