Here is how much a VR-Ready PC costs in South Africa

Very conservative estimation of what VR early adopters would be excepted to pay for a full rig and setup. I would say that the full retail for both a VR capable PC as well as a VR system should be more around the R25000 or R27000 price range. I honestly don't see either of the Oculus Rift or the Vive going for less than R10000 in SA when they finally release, if ever.

If you carbonite the cpu, and get the GTX1070 and a USB3 hub you can do it under R20 000
