I saw this game on moddb.com a few weeks ago: http://www.moddb.com/games/heroes-generals
Its a new battlefield style WWII FPS, which I think is long overdue since the last couple of years most war games are based on modern or futuristic warfare.
It looks like a promising game, but its probably going to take another couple of years to develop. They are periodically giving out alpha keys though. I'm hoping on getting one.
The developers are some of the guys who started the hitman-series. They are following a user-driven development approach, making the game like the players want it.
