Ok guys the beta testers have gotten permission from the S2 guys to talk about Heroes of Newerth Publicly.

This game is so awesome guys, even with a ping of 400+ there is absolutely no lag. Heroes from dota are basically renamed and abilities as well but its basically the same as dota but completly different at the same time

We still not allowed to post pics and so forth but time will show all u guys.

Regarding port Forwarding and such...

Hon uses a server/client architecture. When you host games online, the game is actually being hosted on a remote server. There's no peer to peer. So no, you don't need to forward any ports

If anyone wants a beta invite tune me. The beta game client is relatively small 200mb with a about a 5meg update when in game. Please note at the moment this game is ONLY ONLINE.

There is also a Linux and Max os X client.

but yeah all in all its a great game thats takes a few hours to get used to for dota players, but its quite heavy on the cap atm like 40megs per a game, so I cant wait until we get a local server
