Its something to do with the connection. I'm running at ~100fps and 200-210ms. It freezes every couple of frames in a online game.

I had this same problem even though my pc should be able to handle the game on. High i had to drop all my settings think its due to memory leaks
 
The freezes aren't pc or gfx, it is netcode unable to keep up for some reason :(

No matter what I do with the settings, it will run fine a few matches and then suddenly get bogged down randomly. When it happens I get the network disconnect icon top left. So I can only think of net code errors.
 
It's the horrible netcode from sc2 which is bearable in a RTS but not so much in hots.

Just notice this morning I was given beta access. Busy downloading now. Any pointer for someone who last played dota about 10 years ago?

this is a lot easier, no items for builds to remember.. just have a sense of your surroundings and also figure out nice combo skills :)

Flip I need to check if I have access. I think I requested access to the beta ages ago...

Game looks like a much simpler version of the current MOBAs on the market. Any1 playing it currently?
 
Hey guys... who is still playing HoTS? I just started again from dabbling around in the alpha. Grinding to all my god masteries in Smite had me grabbing for something else to play a bit.

I am only on account level 7 at the moment, anybody who still plays regularly? My battletag is Samildanach#2139. I currently only have Vanna(?) on level 5 ATM.

Got access to the beta this past weekend. Only managed to squeeze in one game after playing a practice match. It's quite fun, nice and fast paced, reminds me of Demigod to a certain degree. My only complaint is the latency, the game keeps flashing a warning at the top regarding the latency and it is noticeable ingame, is there any way to switch servers? Or is it already connecting to EU since that's where my Blizzard account is registered?
 
Played quite a bit this weekend, the XP boost when in a party with friends was awesome. Almost level 10 now, and close to buying my first hero. Think I'm gonna go with Illidan.
