Hitchhiker

So I see there are loads in pretoria and was wondering if anyone actually pick them up? I normally don't since its a fear from when I was small and we use to tell scary stories and most of them involved hitchhikers.

I feel bad sometimes seeing someone carrying all their groceries and hiking it along the road. Sometimes, I will ask if they would like a lift up the road, not that they would be thumbing it. But not a chance will I offer anyone a lift or anything with my lightie in the cab, unfortunately that is most of the time.

There where always stories of people by Heidelberg of someone that turned out to be a scammer. So I wouldn't.

i thinks its to scary to attempt that with all the stories you hear about ppl getting hi-jacked while trying to help someone

Years ago when I was in college we would give student hitchikers lifts. But these days not a bloody chance

i dont pick up hitchikers, tha last ones i picked up was a group of guys that had a car breakdown at a robot about 3-4 years ago, i could see it was a really desperate situation, i dropped them at the next main intersection and an old lady on a rainy day in a dodgy area that i took down the road up to the main robot.

But those days are gone and i dont give anyone lifts anymore even if you look like an angel
