Hey all.
This is my personal second opinion of Homefront's multiplayer. This opinion is completely detached from the singleplayer.
My initial impression of Homefront multiplayer was that it was underrated. Now I think I might be playing it for a very long while. It's true that there are very few unique elements in the game, and that the graphics specifically aren't anything new-gen(On a side-note I think that the developers did an excellent job of using the unreal engine 3), but overall I'd rate it as a game that most of us gamers would like to add to their collection.
To bring it down to a nutshell; the gameplay is a very much a satisfying and near-perfect blend of Modern Warfare 2 and Bad Company 2. The new battle points system makes the game a lot more fun and rewarding, as players can then only buy special equipment that they can afford. Vehicular combat is included, but altered slightly more than in other such games, for balance. On the infantry combat side, a host of unlockables such as weapon camo patterns and attachments make for a very satisfying experience, apart from giving you the in-game edge.
So overall, I would reccommend this game to anyone, from the enthusiastic online player to someone starting out new. In both cases, the online experience can only improve.
