HoN Discussion

Hi, im very interested in this game and i would just like to know if it is possible to play offline or is it an online only game?

It seems il have to wait till the end of the month before i can start playing.:(

Btw, is there a time limit for when the beta keys need to be authenticated?
 
haven't seen any myself but the dota players tell me it's very unbalanced so I assume that's what they'll be focusing on now with the public beta is actually taking suggestions and comments about the gameplay itself. The engine itself and the game look to be 100s, given that it's only a beta I must say I'm very impressed that the game hasn't crashed or done anything funky at all
 
It's weekend, give em a break, maybe next week some time we can get official news on it.

Also, after a small patch it seems that the bandwidth usage has gone down a bit.
 
I don't get the impatience for a local server, the game doesn't suffer from any lag playing on EU or US servers (250ms-380ms). As stated above, you won't even get to use local only bandwidth when playing on a local HoN server.

Of course you can use your local bandwidth dude. Routesentry to pass the authentication and then local for the game itself

My route entry is already set up. International cap running on low and I'm getting "ontrekkings simptone" from not enough HoN. So I can't wait lol...

I actually got hit by some bad lag yesterday, everything is going on, but you cant give your char orders... weird.

Not sure if it was my internet's fault though, i think the server may have lagged [others were getting lag too]
 
Eish, im sitting here with a beta key, downloaded game but still cant play....damn internet cap!:(

Anyway, a progress report for the local server would be nice:rolleyes:
