Lady with the chromatic hair knows what she likes on her hot dogs. What do you like on your hotdog.

Is this a question, because it doesn't look like a question?

Do you mean everything except for mustard, mayonnaise and chutney?

Well... I was mentioning ingredients and wouldn't want on a hotdog.

Only ingredients worthy, IMO, are:

The roll
The dog
The ketchup and,
The butter/margerine

Depends whether it's a Boerewors or Vienna roll.
For Boerie you want to get some Tomato and Onion sauce in there and nothing else.
For Vienna, you want onions, mustard, tomato sauce and maybe some Tabasco.
No lettuce or tomato slices, please. Lettuce and tomato slices are for burgers.

I'm hungry now

That's clearer now thanks :D

I'm going to have to +1 this for the most part, however, I do love a plain boerie roll with All Gold and that fake, Steers-style mustard.

Hmmm...it really depends...

Standard Enterprise Vienna Hotdog : Steers Yellow Mustard & All Gold Tomato Sauce
Boerie : Tomato & Onion Mix or Fried onions and All Gold
Frankfurter : Sauerkraut

And something I honestly cannot find in SA, but I loved it in the states : Double vienna on a roll covered with what they call Chilli

Why is no one saying fried onions? What has the world come to?

You've got some form of onions. You are partially sane.

It must look like this

and for the love of all things sane, don't butter the damn roll

If I'm taking some time, I'll fry up some onions, but a mix of mayo and sriracha hot sauce is a must! (I get people to bring me a bottle whenever they're going somewhere that sells it)

Speaking of which, if anyone sees this in a local shop somewhere, please please please tell me!

The fried part is implied. What sort of sicko will stick raw onions on a hotdog?

hotdogs (vege dogs in my case) , all gold tomato sauce and mustard.... or even with the fried onion and tomato with a lil garlic and spices... beats anything!
