Proof of concept now imagine if you had cars that could do this not just on a magnetic surfaces.
I can imagine a few problems like stopping but where there is a will there is way.

It is just a proto-type, It uses magnetic fields to achieve lift, similar to mag lev trains. So for now you can only use it on special metallic surfaces, On a full charge you can skate for about 7 minutes.

Obviously it will get better as the technology gets refined etc.
