How big is your Windows folder?

Interesting fact... Your Windows drive will have a file called "hiberfile.sys" that is the same size as your ram :) delete it (turn off hibernate first) and you will reclaim this space!

Who uses hibernation anyway :\

Pedobear uses it!

Windows is a bit of a fat b**ch if you ask me, she requires so many third party apps be installed. But that could easily be done onto a different partition. Do you want an SSD with Win7 intalled to get uber fast boot times?

You should also consider playing certain games off an SSD, i'm sure if you will get faster load times or even better performance.

Exactly 20GB is my Windows7 x64 folder. Not including other programs etc. I generally make my windows partition 80GB big and that is enough for programs and Windows (I install games and have other media and everything on separate drives/partitions). Also, I manage to keep it neat and tidy by doing a reformat/reinstall every 6months-1year.

To free up some more space you should do a drive clean up regularly and remember to to delete your old restore points.
Your system will make a new one and delete all the older ones resulting in a few gigs being freed up.

install steam + uncapped adsl and you in the same boat as me = screwed

SSD's are quite small, so really taking some strain with my 120GB as I like to keep a good 40-50% free. Makes a huge difference speed wise compared to being 90% full
