How do you get a Gaming Studio's attention?

I know the going sentiment is that Gaming Studios don't care. I can think of one that really doesn't, but in general these people are Gamers themselves with a deep passion for it.

It stands to reason then, that in this case, getting Ubisoft's attention to the sheer volume of rage on the internet about how bad uPlay is, would grab their attention. There's even a couple of petitions to "Fix it or bin it". But strangely, there's no public statement from Ubisoft regarding the matter.

It simply doesn't work for a very long time now.
I nearly binned Farcry 3 before I even got to play it because of uPlay.. even after the steam download, it took more than a day to get into the game because of it. The same now with Assassins' Creed that I bought a few days ago.. every few minutes it will minimize the game and open uPlay (*!^@%$#*!@$ knows why).

So, the question remains, how do you get a Studio's attention? And how do you get them to take it seriously?

I agree. This is why I will be buying The Crew on console, as I just don't want to deal with uPlay. Along with future Ubisoft games, as much as I love them I do not want to be forced into using their proprietary software.

Stop buying their games?

pfft... what will that help?

Look at how many people around the globe bitched about BF4 being broken and what shit EA is. Then go back and look at the amount of people that still went out and bought it, and still playing it. An I'm betting the same will happen with Hardline.

Boycotting is about as effective as sharing something on facebook. When push comes to shove, we'll always buy the game, regardless of the bad inconveniences.

Unfortunately I don't believe the "voting with your wallet" strategy works. For every person that claims to boycott a game, there are hundreds that really don't care about the status quo.

It's not that boycotting doesn't work, it's that for some reason gamer's have trouble saying no.

Case in point:

Aaaanyway, getting the studio's attention is one thing. Getting EA's attention wasn't too hard. Just some dips in the stock price following fail launches like BF4 should be enough to get them to realize something's up. Getting them to do something about it, though, is a whole other matter. Jim Sterling had quite a few nice episodes on this subject.
