I thought it'd be interesting to see everyone's typing skill level considering the time we spend online (and in the case of this last week - in this forum :p).

The problem with me is, I never learned how to type of the layout of the keyboard.

I can type pretty damn fast without even having to look at where the keys are. I just remember them by habit. Because I've been using a keyboard for so long.

Now with this test they give preset words.

Yeah the fact that it isn't sentences makes it harder. With a sentence you naturally flow into some of the words.

Improved a bit, but i tend to erase my typos and correct them.. which is probably slowing me down

My results seem to get worse with every attempt lol. Think I'll take a break and probably do better later :p. Kinda like a difficult boss battle. Take a break, lose the frustration and regain your focus :D

we will see who have a job that consists of typing all day, we will see their talents anytime from 5pm tomorrow afternoon when they get home. It makes me excited just thinking of it , it feels like a midnight launch, I type about 25 wpm
 
I got up to 72 on my first try, 100% correct though. Nice little time waster. Now everytime I try to go faster I keep making mistakes :(

This thread just want to waste your time so that you stop posting in the comp, No I am just joking , this is a very good challenge and now we all know how fast we can type, I was last tested in school with teachers and a got marks for it.
