How gaming rules the biggest company in South Africa

Koos Bekker may not be everyone's favourite person, but you cannot deny that he is a shrewd businessman. Fun fact, Naspers invested in Tencent 15 years ago, buying out 46.5% of the company for a mere $34 million. That's a total valuation of about $75 million for Tencent in 2001. Now, Tencent is worth more than $1.3 trillion. That is staggering!! I didn't know all this until I read this article and started digging around the web about Tencent. Thanks for sharing. I may even use this example in the future as a business case. Would be really interesting to research further.
