Producers filmed the climactic scene of CBS' "How I Met Your Mother" finale eight years ago, fearing the actors involved would become unrecognizable, and have kept it under wraps ever since.

The Monday-night comedy concludes after nine seasons on March 31 with a one-hour episode.

The only thing I find surprising is how this show has gone on for so long? It peaked at Season 3 and has been on a downward spiral since then.

I heard a rumor that the series was supposed to end with a feature film that would come out on cinema... Guess not then...
 
This is becoming so lame... the last episode was about a slap... the ENTIRE EPISODE!!!!!! FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
 
The last ep was awesome, the whole old school kung fu movie homage was great, despite the (lol) racism backlash it got, god, people are so damn sensitive.

I agree the last episode was incredibly poor.

They are just dragging it out and the scriptwriters seem to be asleep.
 
I'm glad this show is getting to an end, it was fun while it lasted.
There was a couple of good episodes but the longer the show went on the further apart the good episodes were.imo
 
Even though they are dragging the season out I am enjoying every episode, next to Big Bang Theory it is one of favourite sitcoms. What do you guys think about the idea of a How I Met Your Dad spin off?

Is that a real thing? Or u just making conversation? Coz i think the idea of a HIMYD is terrible...

Is the whole last season just about the wedding? Iv seen the first 9 or 10 episodes and they all start with the count down... like 33 hours till the wedding....
