PC 3-5 years max
Laptop keep it forever. Until i need cash, then sell. this never gets upgraded or replaced.
Phone, every 2nd year.
Car every 10th year il buy a different one from now on, been through 3 cars in the last 10 years because have and upgrade disorder there! This is not a device but have put it on the list anyway.
TV until it dies, still rocking a 1080p 46" from 2012

PC: I upgrade it systematically, so it depends on the component. CPU about every 4 - 5 years, GPU about every 2 - 3 years.
Phone: I usually upgrade after 2 years, my previous phone I bought cash so I kept that one about 2.5 years.
My old phone always lies around in the house in some drawer for a rainy day.
TV: Haven't really established a pattern here, but I bought my first TV in 2011. A cheap 40" LCD. Then last year I bought myself a 60" Samsung UHD TV, which I will probably keep for a very long time.

PC: I upgrade when my brother does - since i end up buying his old parts - but for the most part, I dont till it is REALLY needed.
Phone: Im on contract so I upgrade every 2 years, old phone becomes the backup for when someone in the family breaks theirs

Aka when it comes down to it - as it is needed.

i always repurpose my old machines eg, an old ibm thinkcentre p4 is running my surveillance system
i gave my previous dell xps laptop to my mom, current thinkpad laptop is about 4 and a half years old and im still very much satisfied with it.
my dads old pentium M based fujitsu laptop was repurposed into a kodi media centre for them, my old 4 core phenom II is my current kodi media centre
Old athlon 64 is my linux server and My very old PIII i used to play my very old games and i have p4 in my guest room for someone that needs a pc to do something on when they visit.
old cell phones i normally pass down, tablet i've had it for 5 years now, dont see a reason to upgrade it yet.
Car, i dont see a reason to buy a new car my car serves its purpose, its got enough power, comfort, safety and tech to keep me happy for the next few years and i've literally replaced everything with new parts lol.

PC - Until it dies, but Gaming PC becomes Server/Media Player/etc...
Laptop - See above
Tablet - Until it dies
Phone - 2 Years before it becomes a backup phone and then the backup phone gets sold to buy accessories for new phone

Laptop - Currently on 2.5 years. Starting to feel old since it's my main device
Tablet - Cracked screen, but they seem good for about 2 in general
Phone - 2 years. Hoping for bit more this time since i bought top end this time
