How Many Leave Days Do You Get?

Solitude

Mr. Nice Guy
The older I get the more I value my free time and at my workplace we only get 15 days leave a year. My wife only gets 15 days at her workplace too.

How about you guys?

I don't know. My company doesn't really have any set policies. But usually if you ask the boss for some off time he lets you if we're not too busy.

25 paid and I think another week unpaid (on request).

Sounds like a lot, but we don't have a billion public holiday here, so 21-25 is par for the course.

Used to accumulate overtime as leave too, that was glorious - got 2 months worth in 2014 and 1.5 last year. Sadly no more.

21 days a year. A week's worth gets banked each year for my sabbatical which is coming up where I'll take about 2 months off.

I get 15 days a year and that's it. Work public holidays and whole festive season as well, the joys of retail [emoji14] At least when I take my annual leave my 2 off days per week don't count as leave days so I get off for 21 days.

25 for me. Leave is tied to job scale so the higher up the food chain you go, the more leave you get.

I get 15 days a year officially, but half the time when i ask for a day off here and there my boss forgets to take it off my payslip...so i've accumulated quite a bit over the last couple years :D

I get 25 days but the company standard is 23 days. The IT guys get 2 days extra for being awesome and always at work.

Do you guys have to work over weekends at all? That's a nice figure!

That's the best bit. Paid overtime, I only work from 7am-3pm and anything before/after that time is regarded as overtime. 3pm to 11:59pm is standard rate. Midnight to 6am is double standard rate, Saturdays is 1.5 standard rate. Sundays and public holidays are double normal rate.

But then again, IF I get called/asked to do something after hours the shit has seriously hit the fan. So nobody really cares about paying me 8k to put in a couple of hours on a Sunday.

Sheesh that's nice. We don't get paid overtime at all. I don't get asked to work overtime all that much though.
