I was just totalling up and I realised I spent a lot of money on just games this year already

Dead Space 2
Bulletstorm
Homefront
Crysis 2
Portal 2
Duke Nukem Forever
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Battlefield 3

Im sure there was a few others but here's what I remember ..... R2700.00 there about's

Way way waaaaay too much. I'm sure I spent well over R4000 on games this year. Time to take a break I think... :(

Homefront - Hate my life everytime i see it
Crysis 2 - Shit
Portal 2 - Awesome
Duke Nukem Forever - Waste
Battlefield 3 - Worth it
Modern Warfare 3 - Worth it
Rage - No Comment
Football Manager 12 - Worth it
Fifa 12 - More than Worth it
Gears of Ware 3 - Brilliant
Fight Night - Always worth every cent.
Loads of xbox live arcade games.

Meh i dont want to count those games up. There is a few im missing also.

Oh and my upgrade on the PC aswell so...Please dont let the girlfriend see this.
 
well I just upgraded my PC as well and that was 6k , but im more interested in totals , seems I taught I spent too much but you guys went much higher than me .

Easily 3.5-4.5k this year.
Including PS3 and PC games....

That seems like so much when i think about it :wtf:
 
can't even remember half the games bought this year, would not like to know the total, especially on some of these ones bought on a whim and don't play.

Its a passion I know and we love games , and sure the cost spread out is cheaper than other forms of entertainment .

My point here is I have bought at least 3 stinkers this year , Duke and Bulletstorm topping that list
Could I have saved that cash , if the hype wasn't so much or I wasnt as gullible . Special edition Crysis lasted all of a month

Judging from your lists (and values spent)there are more than a few titles you could have done with out . Should reviewers be more Iduno strict .
 
Wow.. Some of you guys spend a lot of money on gaming.. I felt kinda bad about the amount I spend but looks like it ain't bad after all. :)

Oh I just bought some console games, regular editions. Not sure exactly how much but it all adds up. :/
 
A little while ago I worked out something really scary.

Over the past 6 years I've spent more than R20,000.00 on World of Warcraft, between running up to 2 accounts at the same time and character transfers.

Scary stuff, though admittedly it only works out to around R3,300 per year. I still think that R150.00 World of Warcraft monthly subscription is a great bang for your buck in terms of the hours of entertainment you can get out of it.
