How much would you pay for Nintedo World Championship?

Im quite interested in how they authenticated it, as if i recall there was something in the first article about these cartridges that said the gold ones didnt have something the normal ones did that authenticated them...

Still though... You have to be pretty stupid, or incredible wealthy to fork out for one of these...

That's pretty rare, but I personally won't pay that amount for something like this. Although, I do dabble in collectables and I can see how some people can obsess about something that is so dear to them, that they can justify spending that amount of money on the item.

I guess the real question should be: if any game console-manufacturer/publisher/whatever (assuming this e-sport stuff didn't exist) was going to hold another 'World competition' then what games would they include (taking only Single Player games into account)?

Now that's probably not a fair question without me also giving some examples...so based on what I like (or have spent time on) I'll give my list of games...maybe others will be inspired to do the same?:
-> Far Cry 3. The aim is to play a set number of missions selected from the Single Player campaign where your score will be determined from your time take to complete said missions, the number of secret items you find while playing this levels and also the number of deaths and the accuracy rate of your attacks (take-downs earn more, no alarms earn more, headshots earn more, etc.)
-> GTA V. Pretty much the same criteria listed as above in Far Cry 3.
-> Limbo. This one is only about two things: Time to complete and number of deaths (fewer obviously being better).
-> etc. etc. etc.
