I have created a mod for Neverwinter Nights where you can play the loot or drums and even play with a friend. It makes use of wav files and the problem is that the files are huge - it would not justify the size of the hak file.
So basically I create music sheets for each song. having this sheet, you can play the song via the lute or drum - you can also play with a friend and the song will synchronise for the two parts. I have created a lot of songs and took a lot of time editing, converting, syncing these songs. Some songs were created as text files made by the community for LOFR and some songs are midi's that I singled out some tracks - like the drums and converted it to wav. Sometimes the bpm got messed up and I then usually tapped them out manually using Audacity. One song can be over 50MB!!
If you have some advice...please. I did Google the question and there is no real solution that will work for me.mp3, m4a and the like won't work.
