How to switch from iPhone to Android

I thought to share this article as I think there might be some of you considering leaving the fruit comany for the sweets factory. :)

I've been interested in this as I was at a stage considering moving to the iPhone from my Galaxy S2 but with all my contacts and info already sync'd to my Samsung account and Google, I just see it as too much of a schlep and also, I do not use Mac products like iPads or iMacs s integration with an iPhone is not going to happen with my Galaxy Tab and laptop. :)

Disclaimer: I am in no way saying that one company/product is better than the other as your specific persona use/need will determine which product you will need. :p

Got a S4 Mini for my son. Personally I would rather go Huawei p6 much better phone in the same price bracket.

The S4 Mini can't even play minion rush without laging all over the place.

Huawei is new to the market place and they are already creating exceptional phones...

Without any doubt i would recommend that you look at them before wasting money on a Samsung or an Apple phone, when you can get better value (maybe also quality) from the Huawei's
 
Windows 8 Amber should have been added to the poll.
I am a die hard android fan but holy shit Windows 8 Amber on the Nokia lumia is so so smooth and fast, Android feels slow and stuttery compared to it. I would say its even smoother than Apple, even if its only slightly.

Dont judge me but i hate anything to do with windows 8.... Hate the os.
Every second is very good so the next one will be great :P

I should have added Win 8 but I just don't see them as a contender in the OS race at the moment. It might be my personal issues I have with Microsoft in general and old perceptions dating back to Windows 6.5 on the old HP smartphones that totally cancelled out any thought of even considering Win for a smart phone. :)

It does look good though and the touch interface is greatly improved but I won't touch it with a 50 foot pole... (excuse the pun) :)
 
I would use Windows Phone once it catch up to my Android's functionality. Sadly its still a long way to go to get there. (If it ever does)

I agree, I would rather save up and get a proper phone like even the S3 if the S4 is too expensive. I haven't used the Huawei phones at all so I have no idea how they performe but I have a S2 and still love it even with the newer phones that is out.

I upgrade in March next year so it'll be interesting to see what phones have been released and the new tech. :)
